Looks like AMD has added a 3 core processor to their newly released Phenom line of products. Presumably the 3 core was a choice by AMD in order to offer something better than a 2 core but cheaper than an Intel Quad core. Unfortunately for AMD, Intel has just lowered their prices on the Quad core, making the 3 core processor something of an oddity. Not really worth sinking any money into.

Looks like a computer company named Computer Choppers, is gold plating a Macbook Air. Then to add that fun touch, they embedded the Apple logo with multi-colored sapphires. Really, I'm so glad they did this, cause who doesn't need a gold plated sapphire embedded ultra-portable money sink? Looks like for the second time in a row, the Soyuz capsule has returned to Earth with a pretty serious error in its trajectory. Unfortunately this placed a whole lot of unneeded stress on the astronauts, at times they experienced up to 10g's of force place on their bodies as the capsule took a steep ballistic trajectory on re-entry. Luckily the capsule landed successfully, but they were off course by over 200 miles delaying recovery by Russia for about 45 minutes.

Posts may be a little erratic, I should keep posts up to date, but there may be a few days I miss. I'm in the process of moving to an actual website and it may take a while to get everything running.

I really don't know what some companies are thinking when they create some products, take a look at the following list of wired and seemingly useless/horrid products.
The NextComputing's Vigor Evo HD, rugged, but I can't really figure out how the crap this is going to be used, or why the screen is on the outside.
Really... I have nothing that can add to this...
Flavored with a horridly small 64MB, is this memory capacity from 1995?
They still make mice with the balls in them, non-optical. I guess $8 may make it worth it... maybe...

Sony is now working with displays that are powered by OLED's, or Organic Light Emitting Diodes. These new OLED's are still being perfected but some amazing results are coming from their use. One of those being the super thin display shown above, these displays will leave you thinking your wall hung pictures are too thick. These OLED displays are sporting a thickness of only 0.2mm or 0.0079in, on the thinnest model.
This looks like it may open up opportunities for some amazing products in the future. I can't wait to see where they go with this!
