Sony is now working with displays that are powered by OLED's, or Organic Light Emitting Diodes. These new OLED's are still being perfected but some amazing results are coming from their use. One of those being the super thin display shown above, these displays will leave you thinking your wall hung pictures are too thick. These OLED displays are sporting a thickness of only 0.2mm or 0.0079in, on the thinnest model.
This looks like it may open up opportunities for some amazing products in the future. I can't wait to see where they go with this!

Oh man, if they can make them flexible, you could put a TV in your pocket!
Funny thing is the day after I posted this, Engadget posted a concept for a cell phone with a flexable computer screen that pulls out. Weeeeeird!!!
